It has been a while since last update. Not really that much is going on. The house is coming along and hope to be in it by the weekend. We will see. Josh had his interview for the Lt. position with FFD today and feels that it went really well. Keri is liking her new job. We had a small family reunion at work this morning as Nick had to have his wrist checked. He has MERSA. Wow. It is the same wrist that he burned. Ugh, will we ever get him well. Ma is addicted to facebook farming as are alot of other family members. I went to seen an endo yesterday and he told me that I have Grave's disease. Now, to make all the decisions that must me made. Work is work. The girls are doing really well. Layna spent most of the weekend here and Gabs was with her mother. Just a little bit going on I guess. Oh, the dogs are still old and stubborn. I took Max to my house the other day and he was not to happy about getting in the car and then we got there and it was hot, so he sniffed around for a minute as was ready to come back to the A/C. What would the dog do, if he had to lead a real dog life. Nick is off to Lowes for more PVC. Justin and Rooster and doing something down at the house while they wait for Nick to get back. Pray for a good week. LYMI!

Hello all. Well, the house is in place just waiting on a well and power. Nick's arm and face are healing nicely. Must say a very big THANK YOU to our friend Justin. He has been Nick's hands all week. We are getting some things moved. Not a lot but little by little. Today was a very long day at work but what day is not. The dogs are not too sure that they want to move. I hate to break the news to them, no choice. They are mine and I am taking them. Although, Ginny said that I am going to have a custody battle on my hands. We will see, I can not say that she will not know what she is getting into, she knows these old stubborn boys and still likes them. She is crazy. Gabs and Layna very much like running around my house at this point. Daddy's toy had to go back, so sad. However, that Tonka toy saved us alot of hassle as Daddy was able to get the truck out every time they got stuck bringing in the house. Ma is on her puter. Keri started her new job today. Now, everyone but Ginny is back to a job, we are working on getting her one though. Howard is playing fireman today. No telling what Josh is up to. I am going to take something for my headache and chill til Nick gets home. LYMI!

Well... I went to work this morning and got started, then decided that I wanted Nick go to the dr. He agreed interestingly enough. So, he met me at the office and we went to Urgent Care, they were none to pleased to have a burn walk in. Just what exactly would they like, all the ear infections sitting in the ER? Anyway, they sent us to the burn clinic at Cape Fear Valley. Who told us they do not take walk ins (what people plan to get burned around here), so they called HighSmith and they could see him at 11:30. We went in with no problems and the girls looked at his arm and went to work. They pulled all off of the burnt skin to reveal very healthy looking tissue (much to my surprise and relief). Then they were rubbing it down and I could tell that it was hurting Nick pretty bad, good thing he had taken his pain med. They redressed it and told him to come in on Wednesday for some more wound care. His face is very dry but the skin that is coming off has healthy tissue underneath. That is great. Josh is trying to run the bulldozer in the rain. Keri went to a job interview this afternoon. Say a prayer for her. Ma is at work. Daddy is at the fire station and I am "looking after Nick". Just another day in Ammon. LYMI

It has been an interesting couple of days. Thursday, Gregory Poole delivered a bulldozer and Howard was very excited to get home friday morning and run it. He and Nick had a small pile ready to burn and put 1/4 gas to 3/4 diesel and lite it, well, some of the fumes were still in the air and it burnt Nick on the right side of the face and right arm and hand. Could have been a lot worse but his face just looks like a really bad sunburn, the arm however is all blistered up and hurts. Daddy continued on the dozer and got the whole lot cleared. Now the clean up starts in the morning, when he gets home. Nobody else knows how to run it. Ma, Keri, Ginny, Steve, Nick, and I went and packed up the contents of the singlewide and brought most of what I thought would not make the trip well home with us. It should be here on tuesday and then getting everything hooked up will take about another 2 weeks. I am getting excited. Keri and I are going to get our toes looking good for a baseball game tonight. Steve and Denise got me a video camera for my birthday, as soon as I figure it out, I will get video on here. Keep Nick in your prayers. LYMI

Hello all! Been a long week so far but not all that bad. Nick's Granny came home yesterday and we went to see her last night. She is doing ok. Seems that Howard blew up my time line and we should have a bulldozer here Friday morning. Ok, it is costing an arm and a leg but hey, it will be worth it. That means, that the house should be here on Tuesday of next week. I can hardly wait. Nick is on his way back from the beach. Several calls today! That is great. Rooster went down with him. Hope they got some work done. Not sure what Josh and Keri are up to today but I am sure we will find out. Sorry to hear about the drama at Penny's over the weekend. Keep praying for Jeremy's friend. Had to have my car fixed, good thing that my friend Justin is a mechanic, he did a great job and I am no longer required to drive the beast. Not Daddy's beast but mine. It has all the requirements but you must have a 5 acre field to turn it around. LOL!! Girls are doing well. I have not heard much from them this week. Dogs are still old and stubborn. I think we may have to leave Hank with Ma, he does not seem to be too happy about move talk. He will ignore for a while after I tell him that we are going to move. Who knows what he is thinking. Max and Dingo will make the long 100 yard trech with me. Spoiled asses. Not too much more to tell. LYMI!

Happy 4th of July everyone. Today has been very nice. Nick and I went to the ville and looked at washer and dryers. This evening, Nick, Ma, and I went to White lake and watched the fireworks. Last night, Nick and I were at Topsail working and saw the ones down there. The ones at Topsail were much better. Josh, Keri and the girls have gone to party at Nick and Samantha's. Howard is at the fire dept. I used to hate working the 4th, you get all the boring people calling 911 about the fun people having parties and setting off fireworks. Better him than me. We finally found Gabby a bedding set by LittleMissMatched yesterday in Raleigh. took me all day. Nick and I went by and signed all the paperwork for the house to be delivered, one problem is that Daddy has to find a bulldozer to get the land cleared and the driveway done. I am sure that he will get it done, in his time, not mine. All the dogs are just laying around sleeping. We have bought a few things for the house but not much. No where to store anything right now. We will get it done though. Work is work and that is all I am going to say about that. Getting late and I am in the middle of a really good book, so I am going to get back to that. Hope you all have a safe and happy 4th. LYMI!
